reportage reflects the modern desire for a departure from the traditional posed coverage in favour of a more spontanious, dynamic approach to capturing the wedding day as is unfolds.

In contrast to the contrived arrangement of formal wedding poses, contemporary reportage is a fluid, unobtrusive technique, where impromptu interactions between you, your family and your guests, and those fleeting, momentary natural expressions, are forever captured on film.

Blend of traditional medium format (60mm), hi-resolution professional digital SLR, or standard (35mm) SLR photography.

Reportage can occur at three separate locations. The ceremony and reception venues are usually essential and the bride may wish pictures to be taken at home whilst preparing for the ceremony. Alternatively it is also popular to visit a beauty spot en route to the reception. This gives the bride and groom a welcome break from all the proceedings, and always provides an excellent opportunity for more intimate photography.

A minimum of 145 shots are taken. All 5" x 4" prints are yours to keep.

To provide ultimate flexibility the sizes of the final prints, size and style of album are all left to your imagination - with my professional advice and creative support of course!

Before hand-mounting the prints in an album of your choice, I present you with numbered 5" x 4" prints in a preview album, giving you the opportunity to choose your favorites for the finished album. I will be available to discuss the shots and offer my suggestions and advice. It may be a good time to show your family and friends too.

Once the final selection of prints is made, I can combine any of your 5" x4" prints along with other enlargements, into your reportage-style album (Returning any that remain to you).
